Meet our new Business Manager, Anika Weekes!

We are excited to announce Anika Weekes as our new Business Manager!

Anika was born and raised in Mandan, ND, and started working at Eide Chevrolet in July 2024 as a Sales Consultant. She was then promoted to Business Manager in September 2025! 

Her father, Shawn Weekes, New Car Manager at Eide Chevrolet, has been working in the store since 2009, so Anika has grown up in the dealership. This has given her a unique perspective on the automotive industry, and has helped as she grows her career here.  

“I never intended to work in the automotive industry, but I’m glad I did it because it’s been the best decision for my career,” said Anika.

Anika's upbringing in the automotive industry has significantly contributed to her career success. Her extensive knowledge of Chevy products, gained through constant exposure, enables her to sell with comfort and confidence.

A typical workday for Anika is a meeting in the morning, followed by talking to customers, and taking care of any new deals that come throughout the day.

“The atmosphere here at Eide Chevrolet is different from any other place I have worked,” says Anika. “Every day brings something different, and I am able to learn something new every day which makes coming to work very enjoyable. We are all one big family here, always chaotic, and can keep you on the edge of your seat at times.”

Anika has learned a lot from selling which she can take with her as she continues to grow her career here. “I always make sure my customers are taken care of and feel comfortable throughout the whole process.” 

“I would like to thank my dad, Shawn, as well as Kye, because they really helped persuade me to start working here. I would also like to thank Ryne Balzer, General Sales Manager at Eide Chevrolet, for continuing to believe in me,” said Anika.

“I am extremely proud of my daughter,” says Shawn. “She has a great personality and is strongwilled. She’s also really good at interacting with people. When she first decided to work for the Chevrolet store I was skeptical, but now I couldn't be happier and definitely never more proud of her. Anika has always been very personable, which is great because she always makes sure her customers are taken care of and that even the smallest things matter”

“Anika is a great example of a female with a strong presence," says Ryne. “She's always on time, willing to stay late if she needs to, she's great with her customers, and she has a good attention to detail.” She's the best candidate for the position as well as youngest female to move into the Business Manager role in the Eide Automotive Group. She builds reports quickly and is really good at taking care of others' needs. I'm excited to watch her grow in her career and she will only go up from here.”

Looking ahead, Anika wants to grow in her career and has goals to become a Sales Manager, and hopefully one day be the General Sales Manager.

In her spare time Anika enjoys spending time with her family.
